Purpose of this website: This website provides our toolkit for
successfully managing change in the public sector. The six key
principles of successful change management have been identified from
recurring themes in the reports by the Committee for Public Accounts
(PAC) and the NAO, plus reference to existing literature.
Target audience: The toolkit is designed to assist senior management
and those involved in undertaking change management programmes.
How to use this website: Each of the six key principles on the left
are linked to underpinning statements to guide you through the
stages of successful change management. Each of these statements is
referenced to exemplifying cases drawn from PAC and NAO
publications. We have provided links to guidance from other
organisations in the public sector.
Please click one of the key ‘principle’ buttons to the left to go to
the related list of ‘statements’ on successfully managing change.
