We have broken down the procurement cycle into five stages to make it simpler to approach and analyse. The 5 stages are displayed in left hand menu bar.
For an overview of the 5 stages, hover over the diagrams below:
Each stage is organised into 4 sections. For an explanation of each section, hover over the diagrams below:
To use the toolkit, select one of the 5 stages from the left hand menu, this will take you to the home page of the stage you have selected, or follow the link from the toolkit home page to start at the first stage “Assessing need and specifying requirements”.
Each of the Home pages begins with a brief explanation of the stage.
A series of lettered statements follow. The user should consider the statements in relation to the focus of their review (be it an assessment department-wide or project -specific).
The user should click the appropriate buttons to rate the performance of the organisation under review and then click Submit. This will take the user to the corresponding “Issues for consideration” section.
Information on how the questions have been answered is stored on the user's PC and is not available to any third party.
For users who prefer to use an offline version of the toolkit, we also provide a Adobe pdf format version of the complete toolkit suitable for printing.
