This section of our website lists the work we have done on some of the methods and means by which Government departments and their agencies communicate with the citizen.

 

Communicating with the public includes communication and interaction to deliver a specific service; to achieve take-up of a service; or to deliver a message which may stimulate a change in individual behaviour.

Using leaflets to communicate with the public about services and entitlements

 

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) provides services to some 28 million people.  It communicates with them face to face, though contact centres, letters, leaflets and websites.
