People entering a conferenceInnovation in action was the overall theme at Civil Service Live 2009 (7-9 July, London Olympia).

This event was open and free to attend for all UK Civil Servants with sessions and discussions taking place on the subjects of collaboration, leadership, innovation, transformation and change. The first Civil Service Live in 2008 had over 6,000 visitors and was viewed as a great success.

The NAO had a significant presence at the event with a speech by the Comptroller and Auditor General Amyas Morse, innovation workshops and an exhibition stand.
