Work in progress: Nuclear Decommissioning Authority: Managing risk at Sellafield

Study outline

The study will address whether the NDA is making progress in cost-effectively tackling the risks on its Sellafield site. It will examine whether the NDA has well-evidenced, and logical plans for identifying, prioritising and addressing the risks at Sellafield and the results achieved in recent years, with particular reference to the action taken by the NDA to manage and achieve progress on the larger projects on the site.

This study forms part of the NAO's work on cost effective delivery.

Publication schedule

We expect to publish our report in autumn 2012.
