Work in Progress: Support to high intensity operations

The study will examine the effectiveness of the Ministry of Defence’s support to major operations. The study will focus primarily upon the Department’s ability to provide equipment, logistics and pre-deployment training, and support to personnel in theatre (such as welfare, accommodation and medical arrangements).

The study will include an examination of support to the current operations in Iraq and Afghanistan but will not examine the military outcomes of these operations.

Publication Schedule

We expect to publish in spring 2009.
