    This is the second briefing that the National Audit Office has prepared for the Energy and Climate Change Select Committee on the performance of Ofgem. Drawing on Ofgem’s Annual Report and Accounts, recent work undertaken by the NAO and other published sources, it summarises the performance of Ofgem, which regulates gas and electricity markets in Great Britain, during 2010-11.
