Fraud

The Fraud Practice is the NAO’s external voice in the counter fraud stakeholder community.  We represent the NAO on the Fraud Advisory Panel and through participation in conferences, seminars and consultation exercises.  Through the Fraud Practice, the NAO works with other stakeholders in implementing the recommendations of the Attorney General’s Fraud Review which will lead to the creation of a National Fraud Strategic Authority to tackle fraud in the UK.

The Practice gives us a chance to draw on our unique position in looking across government to participate in the fight against fraud and to reduce the cost of fraud to the UK economy.
