ANNE: Autumn 2018 Conference

There are just a few tickets remaining for the Analyst Network North East (ANNE) Half-Day Autumn 2018 Conference. This event is supported by the Centre of Innovation and Technology Management (CITM), Durham University Business School.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Christos Tsinopoulos & Professor Kiran Fernandes, Durham University Business School, Durham University
  • Max Tse, Executive Leader, NAO
  • Ryan Dunn, Head of Newcastle Data Science Hub, Department for Work & Pensions (DWP)
  • Amy Hughes, Strategic Project Officer and Head of Pro Bono at the Operational Research (OR) Society

There will also be a talk from a variety of organisations that aim to raise awareness of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) skills and the analyst profession in schools.

Business Fair:

A business fair will include stands from a range of organisations employing analysts across the North East, including the OR Society, Royal Statistical Society, Local Area Research & Intelligence Association NE, DWP, HM Revenue & Customs, Valuation Office Agency, NHS BSA and the NAO.

Post-event drinks:

Join us after the event for drinks at The Head of Steam.

Analyst Network North East (ANNE) allows the exchange of ideas between analysts from the academic, public and private sectors in the north east of England – including by holding three free events each year. It also has a mentoring programme, matching people who want to learn from each other, and an education programme to influence students from primary school to university, to get involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects and careers.
