This time of year consists of away trips to various places of the UK, meeting new colleagues that you may not have worked with before, a lot of biscuit treats, and of course some audit work. more… Train ticket. The Christmas break gives us a chance to put a bit of a distance between us and the previous year. I always feel the time off is necessary to forget about work – to enjoy (sparingly) spending time with family. To overindulge (gloriously) on Christmas Eve at my traditional high school reunion. Most importantly, to hope (optimistically) that certain people will forget what happened at the office Christmas parties the previous month.
