As our new trainees start their second day with us, here’s some more advice from those who know best. Learn from Robert, one of our previous trainees who has successfully qualified as an accountant, how to deal with clients, get organised in the office and keep up at college.
You might have already come across the first part of my thoughts on how to make life as a trainee a bit better. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. These are only a few of the social networks that many of us use on a regular basis. We upload pictures from our latest trip, communicate with friends, share useful tips through a YouTube channel or follow the news. Also, and probably most importantly in relation to this blog, social media can help us to improve our employability, or even help to secure a job. I know that many of us will already have a LinkedIn profile, but is it really enough to upload basic information about previous jobs or the university course?
