Culture, Media and Leisure

Our work covers the full range of this large and diverse sector. It includes audits of the annual financial statements of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and the many public bodies and charities it sponsors. These include the Olympic Delivery Authority, Arts Council England, the Tate Galleries, English Heritage, the Gambling Commission and various organisations responsible for distributing lottery money to good causes.

We also undertake value for money examinations across a wide range of bodies in the sector, including at the BBC where our work is carried out under an agreement between the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the BBC.
