About the author
Joshua is the Director of Fraud and Propriety at the NAO, where his role includes acting as the NAO counter fraud champion, overseeing reports to Parliament on fraud, corruption and transparency and supporting colleagues as they encounter fraud and corruption issues in their audits. He also oversees our value for money work on the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ofgem and other arm’s length bodies in the group.
Joshua is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales and a member of the Institute of Commercial and Contract Management. He joined the NAO in 2002 and previously specialised in value for money audit. He studied Social Anthropology at Cambridge, Economics at Birkbeck, and an Executive MBA at the Bayes Business School.
