Gareth Davies, the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of the National Audit Office, has reported on the 2015-16 Sports Council Northern Ireland Lottery Distribution Accounts.
He has issued a report on the accounts due to:
- the delay in finalising them
- the C&AG’s qualification of his opinion on the 2015-16 Sports Council Northern Ireland Lottery Distribution Accounts
The C&AG has qualified his opinion on the 2015-16 Sports Council Northern Ireland Lottery Distribution Accounts as he was unable to obtain sufficient, appropriate audit evidence that grants de-committed in year and grants payables as at 31 March 2016 and as at 31 March 2015 are free from material error.
